Maxi Mounds Quick Facts

Who Is Maxi Mounds?

Maxi Mounds is the stage name of Jenna Curlington, a tall blonde entertainer from Long Island, New York. She grew up in Florida and built her career on the club stage. In 1995 she formed a duo act called Moving Violations with her partner Mini Mounds. The act toured the world and won championship titles.

Her face and figure filled magazine covers through the late 1990s and 2000s. Television producers in America, Europe, and Japan invited her onto talk shows again and again. Her quick wit made her a favorite guest. Fans in the dance world gave her a playful tag as a modern Mae West, the classic star who mixed glamour with jokes.

In 2005 she set the Guinness World Record that defines her fame. She also wrote a book that teaches new dancers the trade. Three decades after her debut, her name still stands at the top of her niche.

Maxi Mounds Early Life

Maxi Mounds was born on October 25, 1964, in Valley Stream, a town on Long Island in New York. Her family moved to Florida while she was still a little girl. Florida became her true home, and she has lived in the state ever since.

She grew up near Florida’s Gulf Coast. As a young woman she planned a quiet, normal career. She wanted to train as a beautician and saved money for beauty school. To pay for her studies, she took work as a house dancer in clubs.

The stage changed her plans. She loved performing and the freedom that came with it. Dancing stopped being a side job and became her career path. Her family stayed in the background of her story. She has never published the names of her parents or relatives, and that privacy has lasted her whole career.

How Old Is Maxi Mounds?

Maxi Mounds is 61 years old. She was born on October 25, 1964, under the Scorpio star sign. She celebrates her 62nd birthday on October 25, 2026.

Her age tells the story of a long career. She was 30 when she launched Moving Violations in 1995. She was 34 when the duo won its championship titles in 1999. At 35 she chose the implant procedure that changed her body and her fame. She had just turned 40 when her book reached stores in November 2004. She was still 40 when officials measured her for the Guinness record in February 2005.

Most performers in her field fade within a few years. Maxi Mounds stayed famous for three decades, and her age is part of that achievement.

Maxi Mounds Career

Maxi Mounds started as a house dancer, working regular club nights while she saved for beautician school. During that time she became close friends with Joey Karson, a fellow dancer with strong industry contacts. Her first feature act came at the Club Mary in Sarasota, Florida. There she met Mini Mounds, the dancer who became her stage partner.

In 1995 the two women launched their duo act, Moving Violations. A booking agent, reached through Joey Karson, sent them on the road. The act played clubs across the United States and toured around the world. In 1999 Moving Violations won the USA Duo Champion title and finished first runner-up at the World Duo Competition.

Magazine work grew beside the stage act. Maxi Mounds posed for covers and pictorials for the biggest titles in her field. She filmed videos for Score and Napali Video and later released titles on her own label, Mounds Productions. Many of her best-known shoots paired her with fellow entertainer Kayla Kleevage.

Her body changed at the end of 1999. Her saline implants had ruptured twice, so she chose a new polypropylene string procedure. Her bust grew steadily for two years and reached a record size. Television fame followed, with talk show seats in three continents. Joey Karson died of heart failure in February 1998, a loss she has spoken of with sadness. Mini Mounds retired in 2005 and built a new career as a massage therapist. Maxi Mounds carried on as a solo headline act.

Maxi Mounds Career Timeline

Maxi Mounds TV Shows, Movies and Work

Television made Maxi Mounds a familiar face far beyond the club world. Producers loved her humor and her record-breaking look. She crossed language barriers too, with guest seats on Spanish-language Univision shows and programs in Japan and Germany.

Radio hosts booked her as well. She sat in on national radio programs such as the Howard Stern radio show, Bubba the Love Sponge, Opie & Anthony, Bob & Tom, and Mancow’s Morning Madhouse.

Her video catalog mixes her own label with two well-known studios in her field.

Her magazine list runs long: Score, Hustler, Gent, Cheri, Gallery, Fox, Bachelor, D-Cup, Hustler Busty Beauties, Exotic Dancer, Edge, Xtreme, and FHM. She also appeared in a Maxim anniversary issue and filled a full page in the British newspaper The Sunday Sport.

In November 2004 she added author to her name. Her book, The Maxi Mounds Guide to the World of Exotic Dancing, came out through Perpetual Summer Publishing. The book mixes her own story with a history of exotic dancing and hard-earned advice for new performers.

Maxi Mounds Records & Fame

The Guinness World Record is the center of the Maxi Mounds story. In August 2003 she contacted Guinness World Records and asked about a title for the largest augmented breasts. The category did not exist at that time. Guinness created the category and asked her to send proof of her size.

On February 4, 2005, officials measured her in Sarasota, Florida. Her under-bust measurement read 91.44 cm (36 inches). The measurement around her chest read 153.67 cm (60.5 inches). Guinness awarded her the World Record for the World’s Largest Augmented Breasts. Her record fitting is a US size 42M bra, a UK size 42J.

The record rests on a medical choice she made in late 1999. Her saline implants had ruptured two times. She chose polypropylene string implants instead. The string sits in body fluid, and the tissue around it keeps filling with fluid. Her bust grew slowly and steadily for two years before it settled at its record size. Fellow big-bust entertainers Chelsea Charms and Minka used the same method.

Her trophy shelf holds stage honors too. With Mini Mounds she won the USA Duo Champion title in 1999. The pair also took first runner-up at the World Duo Competition that same year. Those wins made Moving Violations one of the most booked acts on the feature circuit.

Maxi Mounds Physical Appearance

Maxi Mounds stands out in any room. She is tall, blonde, and built around the most famous measurements in her field. Her own published statistics give the full picture.

Her height works in her favor on stage. At six feet tall, and six feet three in heels, she towers over most club stages. Her blonde hair and hazel eyes complete a look that magazine editors built covers around for years.

Maxi Mounds Husband and Boyfriend

Maxi Mounds keeps her love life completely private. No husband or boyfriend has ever appeared in her public record. She has never announced a marriage, and no partner’s name is part of her public story.

Her published biography talks about her work, her friends, her fans, and her travels. Romance stays out of it. Fans have asked about her relationship status for thirty years, and her answer has never changed. Her personal life belongs to her alone.

Maxi Mounds Family

Family privacy is a rule Maxi Mounds has kept since her debut. The names of her parents have never been published. No siblings appear in her public record either. She was born in Valley Stream, New York, and her family moved to Florida during her childhood. That move is the one family detail she shares.

Her closest bonds in public life came from the dance world. Joey Karson was a dear friend from her house dancer days, and his death from heart failure in February 1998 hit her hard. Mini Mounds was her stage partner for a decade. Beyond those friendships, her family life stays behind a closed door, and she has never introduced children in public.

Maxi Mounds Net Worth

Maxi Mounds has never published a net worth figure. No verified number for her fortune exists in public, and she has never shared salary or earnings details in interviews. Her money story stays private by her own choice.

What is public is the work behind the money. She earned at the top level of her field for three decades. Headline feature dancers command premium club fees, and she toured the world at that level. Her income came from many sources at once.

Each source fed the next one. The record brought television calls. Television sold magazines and videos. The book turned her fame into a teaching legacy. Her exact fortune stays unknown, and she clearly likes it that way.

Maxi Mounds Social Media

Maxi Mounds became famous before social media existed. Fans found her in clubs, magazines, and television studios, not on phone apps. Her online home has always been her official website.

Her fan club ran in the classic internet style, through her website and fan mail to Florida. That old-school setup fits her career. She built a loyal audience face to face, one club and one television studio at a time.

Why Maxi Mounds Is Famous and Her Legacy

Maxi Mounds is famous for a record no one else holds in her style. Guinness World Records created the category of World’s Largest Augmented Breasts after she asked for it, and she won the title in 2005. That single honor turned a club headliner into a global curiosity.

Her path to fame belongs to another era. She rose through print magazines, club tours, and talk shows. She needed no viral video and no social media following. Producers in America, Germany, Japan, and South America put her on television because audiences wanted to see her in person.

Her legacy has two parts. The first is the record itself, a mark that still carries her name. The second is her book, which passed her stage knowledge to younger dancers. In a field where most careers end fast, she stayed at the top for three decades and taught others how to last.
